The plein air event at Brazos Bend State Park could not have had better weather, scenery or friends. Our artists set up in different areas around Elm Lake, but everyone found shade, from giant mossy live oaks to the beautiful observatory deck. The lake had had mesmerizing reflections and shadows; even the clouds were show stoppers. A light breeze kept us cool, and a picnic lunch finished the day.
Watch for photos of the artwork - great paintings created on the spot.
