I made a Color Chart that prints out onto a LEGAL size paper, and aligns with how the pastels are displayed in the box when you first open it. I print out the chart onto LEGAL size paper, and mark each color in the corresponding box. Then I put it into a plastic sleeve and into a binder. You don’t have to keep a binder, you could just fold it up and put it inside the lid for future reference.
I often take pastels out of the box, and put them in my plein air box or simply misplace them. This way, by making a color chart, I can go back and order a particular color online, individually, for example at Dick Blick or Jerry’s Artarama. If anyone happens to have this set, or is about to purchase this set, you can download this word document to mark the colors in the event you need to reorder a particular color.

My husband built me a rolling box that holds all of my matboard, foam board and gatorboard. The two old stationary drafting tables we have had since college, and the retro table that supports my printer and laptop is from my mother-in-law’s storage from years past.
I love nature and have it all over the studio; a partial bovine spine, one with rib bones, pine cones, leaves, drift wood, tree lichen, feathers, rocks, sea shells and sticks to name a few. One end of my studio is reserved for prayer and relaxing which is also shared by my constant companion, a 10 pound dachshund mix.
