Brenda Hash Portrait Drawing Demo
If you weren't at the September 7 meeting, well, you just missed a lot.
Brenda Hash was a rock star with tips and techniques rolling one after another. She described and defined proportions, plumb lines, using turn of form to anchor a mark, squinting, correcting, massing shadows. She peppered all of her demo with information about tools and materials. For this demo, Brenda used Faber-Castell Pitt Pastel Pencil and Pastel, No. 188 Sanguine, on Strathmore paper.
