A special honor to Linda Dellandre by International Association of Pastel Societies.
Her painting The Sea has been juried into the Second Master Circle Exhibition. The Sea is 24 x 25 inches, 100% pastel on Wallis Belgian Mist.
The exhibition reception is on Wednesday, June 5, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Franciscan Room of the Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town. The exhibition will remain open during the convention.
Demo: Another great pastel demo by Linda for the Woodlands Art League on April 25.
From Carolyn Hancock:
First you make the roux: That started out as a quirky blog title that managed to pull itself into art.
Today I learned that Fine Art Studio Online will run it as a feature article. Watch for it on April 12 on FASO's Fine Art View newsletter, or just click and read it on my website blog.
This is great exposure, as FAV goes out to LOTS of people. Last summer my husband and I tried to hike to the top of Enchanted Rock near Fredericksburg. Tongue in cheek, I would call it a roundabout adventure, but it generated a blog that FAV also used, Missing the Trail.
I'd love to see our PSST members submitting good stuff for THIS blog. Grow your fan base, your people base. EASY: just email your info to me or to Joan.
