Zoom into the beauty of a single bloom and translate it in pastel. Re-imagine the natural colors and translate them into vivid richness or subtle tones. That's the approach Carolyn Hancock applies in her pastel paintings of flowers of the Gulf Coast. The Language of Flowers, a beautifully written book by Vanessa Diffenbaugh, inspired Carolyn's video of her flower paintings, creatively set to great sounding music.
