Linda Dellandre presented a non-stop instructional demo, with a hands-on afternoon workshop. Two (of many) tips to super painting: use side strokes and "it's never going to pop unless you have enough dark." Hands down agreement with Brian Sherwin of FASO: the best place to sell art online is your own website. Brian says, "USE IT. Keep it updated regularly. Direct people to your website as often as you can. Furthermore, you need -- no, you must have -- your own domain!" And surprise, these are main talking points in the PSST presentation for the April 5 PSST meeting. Mark your calendar and meet up at Jerry's Artarama Houston as Carolyn Hancock presents Tell Me You Are An Artist: Social Media and Blogging. Click here to read Brian's article in full. Exciting, Awesome, Fantastic, and a hundred more superlatives describe what's coming up in 2014 for PSST members.Caroline Ratliff has put together a Calendar of Events covering everything pastel.
