• Pastel classes at the Woodlands Art League - Wednesday evenings 6pm to 9pm.  Semester is from Sept 4 through Dec. 18th. (no class 11/27) The whole 15 classes cost $450., but there will be reduced rates for those that can only come part time. (at least 7 sessions.) There will be beginners to intermediates, but advanced pastelists are welcomed also. There is something new to learn everyday! Please contact Linda via email [email protected] for more info. • Plein air workshop - pastel, oils, acrylics, watercolor, any media.  The primary focus is finding the composition, showcasing that focal point, and learning our values out of doors.  There will be  studio meetings at the Woodlands art League, and painting from photos if needed, in case of inclement weather.  Dates are Nov. 14, 15, and 16.  Total cost is $150. for all 3 days. All outdoor sites will be in the Woodlands, Cypress, and Northwest Houston area.  Please contact Linda via email [email protected] for more info. Limited signups.
•  Acceptance of my Pastel, "On the Road" by the American Women Artists 16th Juried Competition at the HS Hanna in Fredericksburg, Tx for the month of November.  This is a thrilling honor since over 800 images were sent in, and only 60 selected for the show!
• Acceptances for the Fall shows at The Bosque in Clifton, Tx,  the National Society of Artists in Clute, Tx.,  and the Mile High Denver Show in Colorado. All the accepted paintings are Pastels! Only the Mile High Show in Denver is an all pastel Show.
