Critique Sessions begin

PSST critique sessions.
PSST member artists in the general Fort Bend area met August 14 and October 16, 2017 to initiate a trial run in this new benefit for members. The purpose is to provide positive, constructive comments on what will make a painting better. The artist explains the intent of the painting, light direction, and problem areas. The group is asked to consider whether intent and focal point were achieved, success in technique, color, value, and shapes. The critique is of the painting, and not the painter.

With the success of the Fort Bend group as a guide, PSST would like to create small, community based critique groups for PSST members. If you are interested in hosting one, please email [email protected]. Carolyn has a  Google map showing locations of all members throughout Houston.
