IMPORTANT: Change of venue for ART OF THE PASTEL

This year the Pastel Society of Southeast Texas will hold its juried show in the beautiful venue:

 The Gallery at Round Top

from October 29 through November 26, 2016.

The gallery we were contracted to use (Galerie Spectra) has not been able to renew its lease and is no longer able to host our event.  Thank goodness for the quick actions of our two Chairs for this event, Lynda Hughes and Carolina Dalmas, who worked very hard indeed and have come up with a wonderful venue for our show.  Someone needs to buy them chocolate!

CALENDAR:
August 10, 2016 - Close of Registration.
August 22, 2016 - Notice of acceptance.
September 28-30, 2016 - Workshop Christine Swann http://www.pastelsocietyofsoutheasttexas.org/christine-swann-workshop.html
October 21, 2016 - Shipped works must arrive before October 21
October 23, 2016 –  Last day for hand delivered artwork.
October 29, 2016 - Exhibition opens to Public
October 29 -2016   Reception and Awards at The Gallery at Round Top 4 to 6 PM. 
November 26, 2016 - Last Day of Public Viewing of show paintings.
Nov 27 & December 1st, 2016 - All artwork must be picked up on Sunday, November 27th, or Thursday, December 1st (11AM -5 PM
(Paintings mailed to Gallery must have a prepaid return postage label enclosed with painting.  It is not the Gallery’s responsibility to pay return postage.)

Remember to contact your fellow PSST members to make arrangements for car pooling to drop off and pick up your paintings.
