![]() It is always such fun to be able to hang your art whenever, and wherever you can, and that is what Carolyn, Elaine and Joan did. An opportunity came up on a moment's notice and the next day we are at the reception. Wow, what fun it was. Joan was contacted by the owner, Glenda Araiza, who just happens to be an old friend and artist. She is big into the arts, and wants the community to get involved. She has opened a non-profit gallery called "Art Movement." She had all kinds of art created by professionals to middle school students, who were invited to hang for 2 weeks, then the art will be moved out and new art will be hung again. The title of this exhibition is: "I AM". The public was invited to come to the exhibition on Saturday evening, and visit with the artists. There was a large crowd, with food, live music and professional dancers. Her mission is to communicate and spread current art. If you want to see the gallery while our art is still hanging, it is at Memorial City Mall, next to Macy's and across from James Avery. Now please understand, you will probably see some oils from our members, as Joan's flower (oil) is hanging in the picture above.
